Step by Step Guide

Frist look at the interface, there are four buttons on the top , they are "Source" ,"Menu", "Preview" and "Burn", which you can set Properties of your DVDs. Such as Themes, background images , frames and so on. Let us start step by step. With only four setps you can create your own DVDs with pleasure.

  1. Load source videos files and add them to your DVDs
  2. Set the Menus of you DVDs what you like
  3. Preview your DVDs
  4. Start to burn

Step 1: Load source video files and add them to your DVDs
Press the “Import …” button to load all the video files you want to burn, and then you can double-click your video in the file list to play. You can view the video, snapshot and full Screen and so on. If you want remove videos you have already loaded, select them and clicked Remove. If you want remove all the videos, you can use "clear" button to remove all.

The button can make videos Switched between the thumbnail and list.

Then you must drag the videos to the Bottom, also you can select the video and clicked "add to title panel" to add the video to your DVD as the following figure showed. Only added videos to the panel, we can continue. You may need click the "+"create several titles in your DVDs and add video to them.

On the lower right corner, you need set the type of your disc and quality of you DVDs. you should not add too many videos that one disc cannot contain. On the middle, there are 6 buttons using for videos which you have added to your DVDs, clickde "New" to create new project, clicked "Load " to load a project. After added videos or loaded a project, you can select the videos in this place and click "Edit", "Remove" to Edit and remove your video from your DVDs.

After you clicked "Edit ", what you will see should like this as following figure. There are four Tabs. Set what you like. such as add Image Watermark, add Text Watermarkand and so on.

Tip1: Crop

  • Select aspect ratio:

You can select an output aspect ratio from the drop-down list of Zoom by clicking. There are three choices preset: Keep original, Fit to Screen, Letter box and Pan & Scan.

  • Crop frame of Screen

You can move the mouse cursor onto one of the eight small adjustment boxes around the frame (the dashed line) and drag the crop frame to crop the video. You can view the result in the Preview window. Or you can set values into the blank boards to set the values you want.

  • Vertical Space:

Input value or click to set the vertical space.

  • Horizontal Space:

Input value or click to set the horizontal space.

  • Cropped area size:

Input values of width and height or click in each field to resize the cropped area.

  • Note:

The defaulted maximum values of width and height are the real size of the source file.

Tip2: Effect

You can adjust some output parameters or do some simple effect on your video in this tag Effect.

  • Brightness:

Click and drag the little box on the line of Brightness from left to right, you will be able to modify the brightness of your video.

  • Contrast:

Click and drag the little box on the line of Contrast from left to right, you will be able to modify the contrast of your video

  • Saturation:

Click and drag the little box on the line of Saturation from left to right, you will be able to modify the saturation of your video.

  • Effect:

Click the board of Effec and you will get the drop-down list, there you can select different effects for your video including Keep original, Fit to Screen, Letter box and Pan & Scan

  • Deinterlacing:

Click the board of Deinterlacing, you will get the drop-down list which includes None, Odd interpolate, Even interpolate.

  • Apply to all:

After all is set and done, you can select this item and click OK to save all the figures. Here you should notice that there are two options for you to choose , you can save all the settings to the current title by clicking or you can save to all titles by clicking.

Tip3: Trim

You can trim your video by clicking You can drag the little ball on the playing line under the Preview window. Or you can input the value in the following boards:

  • Start Time:

Input the value or click to set the start time.

  • End Time:

Input the value or click to set the end time..

  • Selected Length:

This boardwill show you the length of your video.

Tip4: Watermark

You can add the words or images you like into you video to make it your own watermark.such as image Watermark and text Watermark

Setp 2: Set the Menus of you DVDs which you would like.

Frist of all, you must click the checkbox to enable DVD Menu. Choose the theme and double click it to apply. Such as following figure.

  • Themes

  • Background Images

There are several preset images in 'Background Images' for you to choose, you can select one of them as your background image for you menu by double clicking the picture.

Also you can import your own pictures as background image to make your DVD menu more customized. Click , and then you can import your images.

  • Frames

If you feel that the frame of title doesn't meet your well, you can choose different frames for title. There are several frames preset for you to choose, you can use your favorite one.

  • Button
    •

In this section, you can select your favorite buttons to put into your menu. You can use these buttons to play video and change pages of menu.

You can drag the button to some somewhere and edit it.

  • Background Musics
    •

Here are three preset music in "‘Background Music" for you to choose, you can select one of them as your background music for you menu by double clicking the music.

  • Set "layout ","title" and "Frames per page "

On the right of the interface, you can edit the title, change the text and color adjust the layout what you like. Of course,you need select them frist,then edit them.

Setp3: Proview style of you DVDs:
After having done the settings,you can click the to review the videos. If anything is ok, let us go next step.

Step 4: Start to burn
Click , your program should look like this.

NOTE:output directory such as "Temp Directory" and "DVD folder "directory you have chosen must consist of pure English characters. It is reported that if the directory has other characters except English,there may be something wrong. It is very important!
  • DVD Label:
    • Add a text as your DVD disc label.
  • TV Standard:
    • Select the TV Standard between NTSC and PAL to create your DVD files according to your TV set and the TV standard used in your country.
  • Aspect Ratio:
    • You can select the aspect ratio you like between 16:9 and 4:3.
  • Drive:
    • Select the DVD ROM where your DVD disc is inserted. You can select between DVD-R 4.5G and DVD-R 9.0G.
  • DVD Folder:
    • Select a folder to save the create DVD files to be created. The files will be saved in two folders: VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS, but the AUDIO_TS folder usually turns to be empty.
  • Save ISO File:
    • Select a folder on your hard disc to save the created DVD ISO file.
